For fuel economy, the TDI tops the charts with a rating of 42/49 mpg (city/hwy) for manuals, 34/45 mpg (city/hwy) for automatics. Topping off engine options is the 2.8-liter, V6 that pumps out 200 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. Transmissions avail in 5-speed manual, optional adaptive 4-speed automatic, or optional 5-speed automatic with Tiptronic on 1.8T.

Safety and Security
Safety is Volkwagen's self-proclaimed most important standard feature.
