Available Models

Interior Features
Even at the entry-level position, the XL model of the 2003 Ford F-150 is given a generous amount of comfort features. The XLT adds a tilt leather-wrapped steering wheel, cruise control, power mirrors, windows and door locks, remote keyless entry, AM/FM/CD player and carpeting.

The F-150 SuperCrew Cab offers a few extra features, including standard power adjustable pedals, available power moonroof and a functional bed extender. All XL and XLT models can be seriously upgraded with the diverse options packages available.

Exterior Features
Functional equipment is standard with the F-150, just as one would expect from this workhorse. Tie-down hooks are located in each corner of all F-150 cargo boxes to help secure cargo. A cargo light on the back of the cab makes loading and unloading the pickup box easier at night.

Performance
Performance has never, and will never, be an issue with the F-150. XL and XLT Regular Cab models have rear-wheel drive with a 4.2-liter V6 engine with 202 horsepower. The 4WD SuperCab steps things up in terms of power with a 4.6-liter V8 with 281 horsepower at 4750 rpm. Customers can choose between 5-speed manual and four-speed automatic transmission.

All models offer an optional, award-winning 5.4-liter SOHC Triton V-8 engine that delivers 260 horsepower and 350 foot-pounds of torque.

Safety and Security
The Ford F-150 is given dual front airbags and antilock 4-wheel disc brakes for safety. Side-door intrusion beams help protect occupants in a side impact, while the LATCH child safety seat tethers are also part of the standard equipment package.
