Performance
Looming large under the hood of the 2002 Acura RL Sedan is an impressive 3.5-litre, 24-valve, six-cylinder engine that produces a scorching 225 horsepower and 231 lb-ft of torque thanks to a silencer in the variable exhaust system. The engine is built with platinum-tipped spark plugs and a long-life timing belt.

The Acura RL's standard transmission is a computer-controlled four-speed automatic that shifts smoothly and efficiently, with just the right timing. A double-wishbone suspension delivers a smooth and quiet ride, while the sixteen-inch all-season tires grip the road for tight cornering. Each vehicle is equipped with sixteen-inch aluminum alloy wheels.

Safety and Security
In the safety department, the Acura RL Sedan is outstanding, featuring traction control, vehicle stability control, ABS brakes, side impact door beams, rigid body structure, and front and rear crumple zones. As well, every vehicle is equipped with a driver depowered air bag, passenger depowered air bag, and side impact air bags.
